  1. Nice wheat again here. I get really nice flavors of banana, orange, and some bread tucked in there.

But let's talk about what is amazing here. The art on the beer bottle. This is world class.

    Let's examine.

First, we have this great monk figure. He looks like a cross of Obi-Wan and my principal from junior high. He's going in big time for this beer...not to take a little taste or a dainty sip...he's going to chug that stein like it's his job.

He's got skeleton keys. Lots of them. What are they for? Are they keys to my house? Is he coming in to take my weissbier?

And that man-purse. Oh, that man-purse. He's rocking that bad boy something fierce. He would look badass without it, but somehow the bottle artwork goes from great to legendary with the addition of the man-purse. It's impossible for their to be better artwork in the rest of the advent case.

I raise my Weissbier in your honor, Obi-Principal-bierchugger-skeletonkey-Manpurse-monkman. Prost!

  2. Because I know absolutely nothing about beer, I was pretty convinced this was the same beer as yesterday with my first sip. On further tasting, though, I noticed it's a whole lot smoother - none of the harsh spices like that silly winter ale. About halfway through, I decided I like this. Still has the liquid bread thing going on - must be a wheat beer thing - but yeah. Maybe I'll actually like beer by Christmas!
